I have been involved in education for over 16 years. I have advocated for the educational needs of students in public, charter, and private schools in central Arkansas. I have spoken before the State Board of Education, the Little Rock School District's Community Advisory Board, and the House and Senate Education Committees in the Arkansas Legislature. I was appointed to the Zone 4 school board seat in December 2019.
When I'm not teaching people how to read or advocating around the state, I enjoy spending time outdoors in our beautiful state, spending time with my family, and crocheting.
I love seeing kids who have been thrown away become successful students!
